We have had a couple of color corp requests which have just come up.  The first request is for next Tuesday, Sept. 13th at 6:30PM.  It is a memorial Mass for Brother Knight Harry Wilson who passed away a few months ago down in Ohio.  For those who didn't know Harry, he and his wife Barb owned and operated the Hamar house B&B in Chassell for many years.  They also donated the land across the street (on US41 in Chassell) which the Chassell council turned into a Shrine, with the big wooden sculpture of Jesus on the Cross.  The church/council is planning on having a reception with snacks following the Mass. 
 

The second request is for the annual Exultation of the Cross Mass and Processional at St. Albert's on MTU in Houghton to be held on Friday, Sept. 16th at 5:30 PM.  This year's processional will proceed from St. Als, following the Mass, and go through campus and all the way to the Church of the Resurrection in Hancock (about 3 miles or so).  If you are willing/able to attend either or both of these events please let me know as soon as possible; and please pass this information along to any other color corp members who might not have email.  In addition, please ensure you arrive at all color corp events a half an hour before the start.  Thanks and may God's blessings be with you and all your families.
